The Studio

Working in the most historic and architecturally significant neighborhoods in the United States, we craft – in our own way – new and inspirational narratives, and shape spaces characterized by their unassuming luxury through homes that blend local charm and contemporary lifestyle.

We’re concept driven and detail motivated. We’re committed to craftsmanship and the psychology of space. We construct an aesthetic that is mindful of how you’ll move, feel and live within your home. Through informed design experience and expertise, we create spaces that evoke memories while creating new ones.

Prospect Refuge Studios is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and welcomes whole home design opportunities throughout the United States and internationally.

  • Victoria Sass

    Principal & Design Director

An award winning interior designer, Victoria founded PRS in 2015. After a decade of experience in the design community, she opened the studio as a place of creativity, taking on diverse residential and commercial projects. Victoria’s approach to design molds to suit the site, the architecture, and the client – however her personal aesthetic may be visible at times and channels a childhood in the bohemian surf town of Santa Cruz and an architectural education in Copenhagen. A midwesterner at heart, she now lives in the East Isles neighborhood of Minneapolis, raising three well-loved children.

Returning home from the mountains of Montana, Alex brings her sense of adventure to every project. A true Minnesota native, she is inspired by midwestern design and tries to cultivate this practice through texture and handmade goods.
