The Studio

Working in the most historic and architecturally significant neighborhoods in the United States, we craft – in our own way – new and inspirational narratives, and shape spaces characterized by their unassuming luxury through homes that blend local charm and contemporary lifestyle.

We’re concept driven and detail motivated. We’re committed to craftsmanship and the psychology of space. We construct an aesthetic that is mindful of how you’ll move, feel and live within your home. Through informed design experience and expertise, we create spaces that evoke memories while creating new ones.

Prospect Refuge Studios is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and welcomes whole home design opportunities throughout the United States and internationally.

Team

  • Victoria Sass

    Principal & Design Director

An award winning interior designer, Victoria founded PRS in 2015. After a decade of experience in the design community, she opened the studio as a place of creativity, taking on diverse residential and commercial projects. Victoria’s approach to design molds to suit the site, the architecture, and the client – however her personal aesthetic may be visible at times and channels a childhood in the bohemian surf town of Santa Cruz and an architectural education in Copenhagen. A midwesterner at heart, she now lives in the East Isles neighborhood of Minneapolis, raising three well-loved children.

  • Alex Casey

    Designer

Returning home from the mountains of Montana, Alex brings her sense of adventure to every project. A true Minnesota native, she is inspired by midwestern design and tries to cultivate this practice through texture and handmade goods. Alex’s thoughtful design resonates in her attention to detail and personality, making each product unique to her clients’ needs and dreams. Alex resides in Stillwater with her husband, Dylan and their black Lab, Hatch.

  • Amanda Drinovsky

    Designer

Fueled by her love of making ordinary spaces feel curated, an unwavering attention to detail, and genuine curiosity, Amanda brings years of experience to residential design to the table. From a semester living and studying abroad in Rome to travel throughout the country, inspiration abounds. When she isn’t designing, she can be found immersed in a good book, spending time outdoors with her husband and puggle, playing the piano, or visiting her close knit family & friends.

  • Sarah Olson

    Project Manager

Sarah brings a background in account & project management, and has spent the past 10 years at the intersection of Twin Cities manufacturing and product design. When she isn’t organizing design projects, she is playing piano or guitar, and enjoys applying a discerning eye to her own interior spaces, plant arrangements, and the personal styles of her fiance, her dog Jordi, and herself.

  • Emily Hunt

    Junior Designer

Emily brings with her a fresh creative energy and visionary lens. Though the Twin Cities have always been her home, Emily’s eclectic style pulls from places, people and moments that bring together old and new — vintage and modern. From living abroad in Florence to exploring the streets and corners of Minneapolis, she can always be found marveling at the fine details that bring aesthetics to life. She is a curious mind and old soul, excited for her creative journey ahead.

  • Kate Panke

    Business Development

After owning her own successful stationery business for 9 years, Kate was excited to expand her design palette to include interiors. Her curious nature leads to her to find the newest boutique hotels, the closest farmers market, and the best nature the city has to offer. Drawing inspiration from her childhood home by Lake Superior she has carried her love of the natural to her remodeled Mid Century Home she shares with her husband, son and golden.
