Prospect Refuge Gallery proudly launches its inaugural exhibition, Homecoming, featuring a new body of work by celebrated ceramic artist and Minnesota native Jeremy Anderson.

A Minnesota native now based in New York, Anderson returns home with a deeply personal collection that honors memory, material, and the quiet power of place. Drawing inspiration from the rural architecture of the Midwest—silos, water towers, and utilitarian forms—his ceramic vessels and lighting pieces reimagine these iconic shapes through a refined, contemporary lens.

Meet the Artist

Jeremy Anderson

Jeremy Anderson is a New York City based ceramic artist and designer known for his sculptural approach to lighting, furniture, and object-making. His work explores form, texture, and surface, drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources, including natural landscapes, architecture, and the raw, elemental qualities of materials.

From the beginning of his work with clay, the act of creating has served as a conduit to tap into childlike play; assembling a world of characters and habitats built around meditative make-believe.
