Designing from the Midwest presents a unique set of challenges. It’s a region that has often been dismissed, left undefined, and overlooked by broader design narratives. But for Victoria, this presents an opportunity—a blank canvas to create a new voice for a place that hasn’t yet been fully seen. In her latest room design, she draws on elements often rejected or deemed without value, reclaiming them as central to the story of Midwestern design.
